Your Story. Table's Story. Raleigh's Story.

Table family,

See that? It’s 21 tons of gravel. 7 truckloads. 3 days of hard work in the rain. Many big hearts at Raleigh East Concrete who donated the material and labor to grow our Table.

But I confess that, grateful as I am for the gravel and cement and dust, it’s not what I see when I look at this photo.

I see you, Table family. These floors will be here because of you, and these floors will be witness to the community you've built. Every scraping chair, clunking boot, tip-tapping high heel on this floor will be part of the story we're building together. Every table that rests on this floor--and the food and conversation those tables support--is another building block to our story. Your story. Table's story. Raleigh's story.

Who will join our story next? Who will find their place at our Table? Who will make our community richer, wider, more welcoming, more diverse, more delicious? Who will find their way to these floors?

Let’s make room for them, Table family. Let’s grow our space, our menu, and our kitchen, so we can grow our community.

Here’s how you can help. We need to stock our kitchen--our glorious, eggs-on-the-griddle, pies-in-the-oven, feed-all-the-people kitchen.

In the link below, you’ll find an easy way to contribute to some big-ticket kitchen items (a convection oven! a restaurant-grade mixer!) and some smaller items (pots! pans!)--all of it critical to our mission of building community through good food.

We appreciate every dollar, every hour, every prayer, every single one of you. We’re building this crazy thing together, Table Family. Let’s make 2020 the best year yet around our Table.

In the meantime, we hope you will join our Table on Thanksgiving morning 8 am-10am. We will be there with Gonza Taco Truck serving breakfast burritos, hot chocolate, and coffee. Come join the community for hugs, laughter, and good food!
